A relative newcomer, it’s taken just a few released projects and only a few short years for Todd Dulaney to quickly become a favorite worship leader and performermarking the young artist already scrapping together GRAMMY, Stellar, and Dove Award nominations. Make no mistake, however, Dulaney is all about ministry stating, My hope is that I will be successful at pointing people to Jesus, no matter what that is what I want my legacy to be. With his second live LP in as many years, the Spirit is more-than apparent on Your Great Name (buy), proving Dulaney’s heart behind the music. Encapsulating a true worship experience, Your Great Name also accomplishes a variety of musical approaches, offering an inclusive space for all to freely worship an intrinsic quality to note. If you like Tye Tribbett or Ricardo Sanchez, expect same high-energy, super-tight live band arrangements, while Dulaney can hold his own vocally in the same arenas as Travis Greene and Jonathan McReynolds.
Tiny Little Houses – Idiot Proverbs (2018)
WEB FLAC (Tracks) – 245 MB | Cover | MP3 CBR 320 kbps – 84 MB | 00:36:48
Indie Rock, Garage Rock | Label: Ivy League
Having spent the last three years winning hearts and minds around Australia thanks to a succession of finely-crafted indie pop gems including Milo Tin, Song Despite Apathy Easy, Soon We Won’t Exist and most recently, Garbage Bin, Melbourne’s Tiny Little Houses are set to release their debut album, ‘Idiot Proverbs,’ through Ivy League Records. ‘Idiot Proverbs’ folows on from where 2016’s ‘Snow Globe EP’ left off.
Having shaken off their early Neutral Milk Hotel worship, Melbourne quartet Tiny Little Houses remain firmly entrenched in the Nineties on their debut album. Touchstones include Modest Mouse and Blue Album-era Weezer, guided by the relatable whine of frontman Caleb Karvountzis. Anchoring all the tousled jangle and scouring distortion are self-deprecating coming-of-age confessionals: the crushingly catchy Entitled Generation skewers its own slacker impulses. By the time we get to Team Player, a Pavement-ish takedown of the music industry, Karvountzis has emerged as an unflinching chronicler of inner volatility.

Traugott Maximilian Eberwein (1775-1831) was a member of the exquisite circle of artists, which was called the Weimarer Musenhof. Goethe was also a member and they worked under the patronage of the art-loving Duchess Anna Amalia. As an extremely productive composer, Eberwein composed numerous operas, songs, and also orchestral music, which can be heard on this recording played by the Thuringisches Kammerorchester Weimar under Max Pommer. The Thuringian Chamber Orchestra, founded in 1962 by members of the Staatskapelle Weimar, is one of the worlds oldest chamber orchestras. It is located in historic Weimar, the city of poets and phillsophers, but also of great musicians such as Johann Sebastian Bach, Johann Nepomuk Hummel, Franz Liszt and Richard Strauss. The ensemble peforms regularly at concert venues across Germany and in many European countries as well as in the Far East and Mexico. The orchestras repertoire ranges from the 18th to the 21st century, with a focus on composers from Weimar and its surroundings. Their extensive discography includes over 250 recordings for radio broadcast, and illustrates the ensembles stylistic confidence and its consistently high levels of musicianship.

The music on this recording with works from the period of Viennese Classicism was performed on modern instruments, using Beethovens instrumentation instructions from 1813. His works and also the works of Mozart and Haydn were sometimes more, sometimes less influenced by the Weimarer Klassik, which one connects to the writers like Goethe, Schiller or Herder. Thomas Albertus Irnberger & Barbara Moser – Ladies’ Night (2018)
Classical | MP3 CBR 320 kbps | Digital Booklet | 01:16:28 | 179 MB
Label: Gramola Records
Until late into the 20th century, being composer was not a valid choice of profession for women for diverse social and political reasons, leading to a rather small number of female composers in music history. Ladies’ Night with Thomas Albertus Irnberger, violin and Barbara Moser, piano turns a spotlight on a number of these composers of different countries and makes a late but all the more important contribution to a more just relationship between the genders. Mamy of the women portrayed in this album like Amy Beach (U.S.A.), Luise Adolpha le Beau (Germany), Pauline Viardot-Garcia (France), Amanda Rntgen-Maier (Sweden), Maria-Theresia Paradis (Austria) and Dora Pejacevic (Croatia), were quite successful musicians as well.
The Xcerts – Hold on to Your Heart (2018)
WEB FLAC (Tracks) – 259 MB | Cover | MP3 CBR 320 kbps – 83 MB | 00:36:13
Indie Rock, Alternative Rock | Label: Raygun Records
We want to make people feel like anything is possible whilst listening to this record’ is a bold statement for anyone to make, but there’s no band better equipped to ensure this comes true than The Xcerts. 2014’s There is Only You’ saw the trio cement their position as one of the UK’s best bands and their reputation and popularity continued to soar as more people found the album and connected with it especially in the live setting. When Feels Like Falling in Love’, the lead single from Hold On to Your Heart’, was released to huge acclaim last July, the entire big tent at 2000 Trees was bouncing and singing along to it just a week later. It hinted at great things to come
Following the euphoria of the closing title track of the last album, the opener to Hold on to Your Heart’ finds Murray Macleod pondering the other side of the coin. An examination of the bleak place you find yourself in when someone you saw your future with cuts it off, the gentle piano-led ballad has Murray talking about how his scars will remain and contains both a callback to In the Cold Wind We Smile’ favorite Crisis in the Slow Lane’ (You found love and I found loss, that’s just the way it goes’) and a forthright sincerity that Craig Finn of The Hold Steady would be proud of: Ain’t life beautiful Wasted dreams are scattered out in the street while the boys and girls get drunk. Yo, Freddie, it’s 2am and I’m surrounded by love but all I see is dark’. Although the subject matter is downbeat, there’s a glimmer of hope shining through in the build-up of the music and it perfectly sets up the next run of three songs
If any band manages to match a run of Daydream’, Feels Like Falling in Love’ and First Kiss Feeling’ this year, they will deserve all the high-fives imaginable. You’ll have had the first two of these on repeat for almost half a year and if you went to a show on the autumn tour, you may well have found yourself humming THAT melody to First Kiss Feeling’ over and over again in the months since. Daydream’ is a Tom Petty-esque burst of Americana punk rock that finds Murray contrasting feelings of emptiness with thoughts of reconciliation: Everything went black, there was no coming back for me’: It was a daydream in my head’. Much like Shaking in the Water’, Feels Like Falling in Love’ loses none of its vigour even on countless relistens. The band said they want this record to sound something akin to a John Hughes soundtrack with a modern twist and nowhere is this more prominent than on this tantalising combination of early Killers and Simple Minds. It’s a bombastically proud pop song that has Murray admitting his faults: I keep saying your name under my breath, I keep making the same mistake over and over again, I keep searching for that first kiss feeling.’ There are huge hooks, delicious synths and a drum-led breakdown that will work perfectly on the bigger stages the band are set to grace this summer and beyond.
The Liminanas – Shadow People (2018)

Garage Rock, Psychedelic Rock
The Limianas’s fifth album – no rest for the wicked of Perpignan – which is blown right open here and there by a few very contemporary guests. After the opener, Ouverture, with its almost surf-like guitars, comes Le Premier Jour, where Lionel Limiana talks about his rock baptism with the punks, the mods, the skinheads, and the Lambrettas of his youth in the South of France. What comes just after is the seismic shock of Istanbul Is Sleepy: the Imprimatur of Anton Newcombe of The Brian Jonestown Massacre is simply enormous. Then comes Emmanuelles Seigner’s super sexy tornado on the title track; and Dimanche follows, with Bertrand Belin. Lionel sees him as a French Nick Cave who writes songs that resemble films. The Gift features Peter Hook who scrapes his bass guitar again here; obviously a song reminiscent of an early period New Order. Finally, the Limianas on their own send out an instrumental cavalcade with a furious beat, like a kraut Morricone, Motorizzati Marie followed by Pink Flamingos, introduced with psych rock pads played backwards forming a vaporous song bathed in acoustic arpeggios. A respite in the album… before the fuzz and the abyssal bass of Trois Bancs violently shakes the ghost of Gainsbourg: an electroshock in talk over. And to close the scene, a love message: De La Part Des Copains; its organ, its tambourine, its quaver, and its brass place it in the classic soundtrack category revered by the band.

The Crab Apples – A Drastic Mistake (2018)
WEB FLAC (Tracks) – 226 MB | Cover | MP3 CBR 320 kbps – 78 MB | 00:34:11
Indie Pop, Indie Rock | Label: Hidden Track Records
After the debut album Right Here (2014) and being presented by Catalonia and the rest of Spain their EP Hello Stranger (2016), The Crab Apples launches its second feature, A Drastic Mistake, album marked not only by its evident creative evolution and stage, but for its union with the new Barcelons Hidden Track Records label. The band, formed by Carla Gimeno, Laia Alsina, Laia Mart and Mauro Cavallaro is, even at an early age, an example of creativity, which with its mix of pop melodies and blunt rock bases have supported groups of the likes of The Beach Boys, Nada Surf, Sidonie or LA with more than 40 live shows in a year and a half next to the recording of this new work. A Drastic Mistake maintains elements of both stages of the band. Melodies and pop-rock constructions with the unique sound of the production of Llus Cots and Xavier Nadal and is, as its name suggests, an album formed by songs that speak of contradictions and errors. But, despite what may seem, these are never conceived from a negative or destructive vision, but we see them as elements that build us as people, complete us and make us versatile beings; with our lights and our shadows, weaknesses and strengths, dreams and fears … There is beauty in mistakes, although at first sight it does not look like it. Through scars the weak becomes beautiful and strong.
